INSTALLATION

DIY-friendly, but take care not to over-tighten the threaded stud when installing.

PRO TIPS

  • Smear a bit of thermal paste on the thermostat’s sensing head before threading it down (not included) — it fills microscopic gaps between the thermostat and the contact surface for better heat transfer, which matters most on pipe-mount installs. It’s a heat transfer aid, not an adhesive, so don’t rely on it to hold the thermostat in place.
