Description
This olive oil is of the highest quality grade, completely natural, and of exceptional quality. The ripe olives are hand-harvested at the ideal time and cold-pressed mechanically in granite millstones within 24 hours. Because the process does not involve heat, it is particularly gentle. For this quality grade, it is customary to indicate the origin, which in this case is Terra di Bari Castel del Monte.
Because the oil is extracted exclusively from fresh, ripe olives, it has a fruity aroma and a golden-yellow colour with greenish reflections. The olive oil tastes fresh, fruity, aromatic, and slightly peppery. The Extra Virgin Olive Oil DOP Terra di Bari Castel del Monte is recommended for seasoning soups and vegetable dishes. A few drops of this fine oil add a special aroma to salads, meat, and fish.
